Whaleshead Beach

So today we visited Whaleshead Beach. It is called that because of the rock that looks like a grey whale breaching.  This was an amazing beach. To get to it they recommend having a four wheel drive to get down the road to it, it was actually an easy drive, I wouldn’t take a sports car down it or if it was raining you might need 4wd to get back up the hill but on a nice day, pretty much an car can get to it.

This area is also supposed to be a great place to watch the Grey Whales migrating north in the spring and south in the fall.  I think that I could sit and watch the waves crashing against the shore all day.  Good thing I have digital camera, getting the right picture of waves crashing over a rock, takes lots of snaps. I think I had to delete 90% of the shots I took.
