So yesterday and today were rather uneventful. Yesterday we had hour mobile RV guy drop by and he fixed our fridge. It was a fuse unit that had to be replaced, luckily he had one in stock and he got it fixed right away, so now we have a fridge and freezer again. However I spent the rest of the afternoon cooking up all the meat that had defrosted. We didn’t loose anything as I bought a bag of ice, put it into some tupperware containers and made an ice box. Worked like a charm, kept everything cold and about half of the stuff in the freezer thawed.
Woke up this morning and we actually had a little bit of sunshine, only intermittent showers. We went to a couple of thrift stores today, managed to find a pizza cutter, a collapsible strainer and two pairs of leggings with Rhinos and Dogs on them. I have been finding that sleeping with leggings keeps my knees warm without riding up my legs and bothering me. I had a couple of pairs from Costco that fit so much better now and I decided I needed a couple more pairs. Len also found a pair of slip on shoes which will work better for him when he takes Lukie outside for a pee.
We did walk along the beach in front of the trailer for a bit, I only brought up three rocks and Len found a very cool one that looks like a wave. Trying to be more discerning on what I bring home. I am trying to concentrate on Agates, but it was the wrong time of day for them.
Tomorrow it is supposed to be nice out so we thought that we would head to California and visit the Red Woods.
