So we did make it out onto a beach yesterday, found a few more rocks and just enjoyed walking the beach and listening to the waves. We went back to Strawberry Hill beach and made it over the the far side. I got some great pictures of some tide pools.
This is the first time I have actually seen an abundance of life in the pools and some more vibrate colours. I am going to assume that in the winter the tide pools are not an active as they are the rest of the years. Not sure if the sea anemones hibernate but we even saw a starfish.
It is quite the hike to get down on the beach, definitely wouldn’t want to try it after it has rained.
